While I was in Italy walking through the village, I was intrigued with these 3 men sitting on the bench in front of the flower shop. They looked like they met at this bench regularly to catch up on the local news. This is the first painting of a series called "The Bench Series"....

I was fascinated watching the herds of elephants on the banks if the Okavango River for 3 days. Their personalities shined through in their actions amongst each other and caring for their young. In this painting, I wanted to capture the beauty and the loving personality they portrayed....
